16th Annual GKGHA Ice Wolves Cup taking place January 4-6 2019The Greater Kingston Girls’ Hockey Association is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Kingston Ice Wolves Cup, to be held in Kingston, January 4
th - 6
th, 2019. The tournament features 88 girls’ hockey teams from the Novice to Midget divisions from across Eastern Ontario, and Western Quebec. More than 276 games will be played at the Invista Centre, Centre 70 Arena and the Strathcona Paper Centre in Napanee over the weekend. There will be 24 GKGHA teams playing in the tournament.
“We are excited to host the 17
th Annual Kingston Ice Wolves Cup this year. More than 7,000 female hockey players have taken part since 2013 and we have approximately 1300 players taking part in this tournament,” says Nathalie Compeau, Tournament Chair.
“This year’s Kingston Ice Wolves Cup welcomes new and returning teams along with 25 sponsors, and three vendors,” said Deanna Bennett, President of the Kingston Ice Wolves Association. “We are proud to welcome all of the teams and their families to Kingston for what some have said is their annual family holiday tradition tournament.”
Tournament Headquarters will be at the Invista Centre, Room A/B. Nathalie Compeau will be accessible for interviews and game sheets can be made available. Schedule details are posted
